Races in the FIA Formula E Championship are held on twisting city-centre racetracks at lightning speed, guaranteeing fans are up close to the action.

Held in major world cities across the globe, each ePrix has an iconic skyline backdrop. The intensity of the action is enhanced even further by FanBoost, where fans can directly influence races through the power of social media. Drivers with the most votes receive an extra power burst available during the race, which can make all the difference.

A unique feature of the championship is FanBoost. Fans vote for their favorite driver through social media, and the three drivers with the most votes get the FanBoost.

On Saturday 17 March Panasonic Jaguar Racing will race in Punta del Este for the 6th E-Prix of the ABB FIA Formula E Championships.
 
FanBoost opens for the 6th E-Prix of the season at 17:00 GMT on Monday 12 March and closes 19:10 GMT Saturday 17 March.

The I-TYPE 2 is an all-electric single seater race car, delivering a rapid 0-60mph (0-100km/h) time of 2.9 seconds with a maximum speed of 225km/h (140mph).

At GKN we are developing, tuning and optimizing the drivetrain systems to help Panasonic Jaguar Racing improve the performance of the I-TYPE 2 on the racetrack.
