Composite parts manufacture has undergone a transformational change in recent years. Structures that were traditionally fabricated in metal and subsequently hand laid in composites are now being designed and developed for semi-automated composite production methods.

GKN is actively researching and developing new methods of designing and manufacturing composite structures and components, not only to meet today’s demand, but also looking to the future and the next generation of aircraft.
