Developing new technologies that are lighter and more efficient is only part of the challenge that faces GKN when designing vehicle systems. These systems have to be durable enough to meet the demands of the real world.​

GKN uses a multitude of different technologies to help develop and test it’s products - from computer based simulations to machines designed to rigorously assess individual aspects of performance – the proving ground is where it all comes together, proving that the systems, and the vehicles they drive, really work.​
