Full Vehicle Rig Testing

The GKN Structures’ test capability extends from simple, single actuator component tests through to full vehicle multi axis using test track Road Load Data (RLD). The aim is to replicate vehicle life in laboratory condition.

Test methodology is developed to ensure that all simulation (CAE) correlates to both the laboratory test and the track. At the same time we are looking to test for vehicle life (sign off) and component product life (to destruction) in order to ensure an in depth understanding of structures’ durability.

Vehicle Testing and Testing of Structures and Systems – both automotive and non automotive - is extended to existing and new customers as part of our problem solving capability.
