 Integrated Continuously Variable Drive (ICVD®)

Our Integrated Continuously Variable Drive (ICVD®) makes it possible to deliver continuous drive throughout the entire speed range without interrupting the tractive force. It consists of a control unit, the gearbox (mechanical drive) and a hydraulic motor and has been integrated into agricultural, construction and municipal vehicles such as telescopic loaders or wheeled loaders.

The variable drive reduces driver workload as the tractive power is available throughout speed range without interruption. It is more efficient than conventional approaches and thus reduces vehicle fuel consumption and noise emission. Its compact and modular design gives designers flexibility in where it can be positioned on the vehicle as it can be housed directly on the axle or on the vehicle frame.
