Hoeganaes Corporation to open premixing/market support facility near Shanghai, China in 2010

CINNAMINSON, NJ – Hoeganaes Corporation, leading global ferrous metal powder producer, has announced plans to open a new Market Support facility in Danyang, Jiangsu Province, China. This facility will support the growing China powder metallurgy market with quick delivery of press-ready premixes as well as warehousing the full line of the company’s products.

Construction of the new facility will be completed mid 2010. The expansion project will be under the direction of Tom Witheford whose responsibilities as Managing Director Europe have been expanded to include Asia.

The new facility will offer short lead-time production of press-ready premixes as well as warehousing the full portfolio of Hoeganaes’ products. A fully equipped laboratory will provide customer technical service support along with product quality assurance testing. Sales activities will continue to be operated from its Shanghai offices.
