The programme structure
We find the best opportunities for you by first exploring your individual aspirations and skills. You then embark on three 6 month placements across our businesses – including at least one international assignment. This will give you the opportunity to develop language skills, work with diverse people and develop an understanding of our global business.
You then move on to the fast-tracked, career-managed phase of the programme – spending around 18 months in each of your first two permanent roles. These could be anywhere across the GKN world depending on your individual skills, interests and passions – giving you the chance to set your own career path and leading to a significant management role.
Throughout the programme, we give you the opportunity to test and grow your technical and management skills across different businesses, cultures and countries. We support and develop your skills as you work on real projects, solving real problems and delivering real change.
