Overview
GKN Aerospace is responsible for the complete design, development, manufacture, assembly and certification of a number of turbofan components such as aft pylon fairings.
Our Turbofan design solution incorporates a lightweight complex design that enables high performance within a demanding environment.
GKN is also engaged in significant research and development activities specifically focussed on pylon structures and technologies (such as electron beam welded structures) for future turbofan and turboprop applications to offer its customers enhanced performance and cost effective solutions.
