Our wing leading edge electrothermal ice protection solution for the B787 is more efficient, extends airframe endurance and offers the most advanced de-icing performance in the industry.
This versatile technology has virtually endless applications within aerostructures, from flight control surfaces to engine and equipment inlets and helicopter blades. It has been selected for a range of major electric ice protection programs including the F135 engine inlet, wing leading edges for the B787, engine inlets on the Bell-Boeing V-22 Osprey and the rotor blades for the AgustaWestland AW101 helicopter.
