Kevin Cummings (54)

Experience

Joined GKN in October 2008 as CEO and President Aerostructures - North America and in January 2014 he was appointed CEO GKN Aerospace. As CEO for Aerostructures North America he was responsible for development and growth of GKN Aerospace’s aerostructures business in the region. He joined the company from Alliant Techsystems (ATK) where he had most recently held the position of Executive Vice President & General Manager - Launch Systems. He has over 20 years of experience in the advanced weapon and space systems industry working for both ATK and Hercules Incorporated. He held leadership roles with both companies across programme management, operations, engineering, strategic planning, business development, and corporate development. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and has an MBA.

 

Hans Büthker (51)

CEO and Chairman Fokker Technologies

Experience

Joined GKN in 2015 as CEO and Chairman Fokker Technologies. Prior to joining GKN, he was CEO and Chairman of Fokker Technologies Management Board having been promoted from COO, responsible for the daily operation of the company and performance of Fokker Technologies. Before joining Fokker Technologies in 2006 as president of the Fokker Aerostructures Business Unit, he was Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) of Stork NV, responsible for the total Stork spend of approx. 1.2 billion euro, having held various executive management positions. Previous assignments include Managing Director Stork Industrial Modules and Stork Precisie. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and MBA at INSEAD, Fontainebleau.

 

Mike Grunza

CEO Aerostructures North America

Experience

Joined GKN in 2015 as CEO Aerostructures North America. Mike joined GKN Aerospace from GE, where he worked in leadership positions for 18 years. Prior to joining GE, he also worked for DuPont de Nemours for three years. Mike has a Masters degree in Business Administration and General Management and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Delaware.

 

Mike McCann (53)

Experience

Joined GKN in April 2009 as Vice President, Programmes – Aerostructures, North America. In July 2011 assumed the role of Senior Vice President Business Development and Strategy, joining the GKN Aerospace Executive Committee. He came to GKN from ATK where he held positions of increasing responsibility in business and programme management, business development, operations and across various engineering disciplines. He has worked with a wide variety of prime contractor customers internationally as well as extensively with all branches of the US Department of Defense and NASA. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering.

 

John Pritchard (45)

Experience

John Pritchard assumed the role of CEO Aerostructures Europe in January 2015.
John joined GKN Aerospace in 1998 and has worked in a number of locations both in the UK and internationally. During his time at GKN he has worked in various positions, operationally, commercially and in general management. Prior to joining GKN, John worked in the oil and gas sector.
John is a board member for West of England LEP and a member of the ADS Civil Transport Board.

 

Gavin Wesson (42)

Experience

Joined GKN in 2011 as General Manager for the Luton business, also taking on responsibility for the Kings Norton site in 2013 and in January 2015 assumed the role of Senior Vice President Special Products Group. Has over 24 years of experience in the aerospace sector, joining GKN from GE Aviation (UK) where he held General Manager positions within GE Unison Engines Components and the Engine Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul business where he was responsible for all elements of the business including Accountable Manager to the FAA and EASA. Prior to GE held operational roles with BAE Systems, Firth Rixson and Doncasters.

 

Daniele Cagnatel (39)

Senior Vice President Business Development & Strategy

Experience

Joined GKN in 1999, and began his career in the International Leadership Development Programme. Before his appointment as CEO Aerostructures North America, he was Vice President and General Manager of GKN Advanced Composite Structures in Tallassee, Alabama. He has also held positions as the Head of Operations of our manufacturing facility in Filton, UK, and previously as General Manager of GKN Aerospace Deutschland GmbH in Munich, Germany.

 

Russ Dunn (42)

Senior Vice President Engineering & Technology

Appointed to Aerospace Executive Committee December 2014

Experience

Joined GKN in 2013 as VP Chief Engineering and assumed the role of Senior Vice President Engineering & Technology in December 2014. Prior to joining GKN, he spent 17 years at Airbus in a variety of technical leadership roles most recently VP Head of A350 XWB Wing Engineering responsible for wing structures, movables and systems installation for all A350 XWB derivatives. For the A350 XWB-900, he led the development from early concept development through detailed design, manufacture and assembly through to successful flight test. He has a BEng in Aeronautical Engineering and German from Bath University.

 

John Gahrs (52)

Experience

Joined GKN Driveline in 1988, and most recently served as Group Lean Director for GKN plc. Assumed the role of Senior Vice President Lean Systems in January 2015 with responsibility for Lean Enterprise as well as Safety and Environment across GKN Aerospace. Held several positions in GKN Driveline and GKN Powder Metallurgy including operations management, new program launch, health/safety/environment, lean enterprise, and engineering. Holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology.

 

Andrew Harvey (51)

Experience

Joined GKN in September 2010 as Senior Vice President - Human Resources (HR), assuming global HR responsibility for GKN Aerospace personnel. He is focused on supporting the aerospace business in its dual strategic objectives of growth and sustainability. He joined GKN from Sequana Capital and has also previously held operations and senior global HR roles with the Metsaliitto Group, Fletcher Challenge and BPB Industries. Plc. Holds a post graduate qualification in human resource management and an MBA.

 

Will Hoy (46)

Experience

Was appointed to the GKN Aerospace Executive Committee as CFO in May 2016. Prior to joining he was Head of Corporate Finance for eight years, completing amongst others the acquisitions of Fokker, Volvo Aero and Getrag All-Wheel-Drive, taking a lead role in GKN’s Rights Issue, and running the Group’s strategy. He joined GKN in 1996 and before running Corporate Finance held roles as a Divisional Finance and Commercial Director in GKN OffHighway and GKN Aerospace Propulsion Systems and Special Products (based in S. California). Prior to joining GKN, Will qualified as a chartered accountant at KPMG and worked in its Corporate Finance department.

Anna Keeling (41)

Experience

She joined GKN in June 2015 as Senior Vice President Commercial, assuming responsibility for all GKN Aerospace’s commercial governance and ensuring an aligned customer strategy across the business. Anna has over 15 years of global aerospace industry experience. Previously she held the role of Sales and Commercial Director for Cytec, a Global Advanced Materials Manufacturing company. Prior to Cytec, she worked for the Hexcel Corporation in senior Commercial and Business Development roles which included leading Hexcel’s A350XWB global team. The early part of her career was spent working in the automotive industry in Australia and Asia in design and development. She holds degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Business Administration and has an MBA from The University of Melbourne.

 

Neil McManus (50)

Experience

Joined GKN Aerospace in 2013 as Executive Vice President, Business Development and Strategy, Europe & Special Products, joining the Executive Committee in January 2014 as CEO GKN Aerospace Europe & Special Products. In January 2015 he assumed the role of Senior Vice President Asia. Prior to joining GKN Aerospace, he was Vice President & Managing Director of Spirit AeroSystems (Europe) for six years and previously held senior roles within BAE Systems. Neil holds a BSc in Design and Manufacture from Loughborough University.

 

Rich Oldfield (41)

Experience

Joined GKN Aerospace in July 2009 as Technical Director and assumed the role of Senior Vice President Advanced Metallic Technologies in December 2014. He came to GKN from Airbus where he was part of the Airbus Strategy and Future Programmes organisation. He joined Airbus as an undergraduate in 1993 and spent 6 years in various leadership roles on the design and manufacture of the A380 wings. He was then appointed Deputy Head of Engineering in the Wing Centre of Excellence, responsible for technical integration topics across all Airbus programmes before joining the Strategy and Future Programmes organisation. He holds a Master Degree in Aeronautical Engineering.

 

Ernie Peake (59)

Experience

Joined GKN in 2001 and assumed the role of Head of Integration Fokker Technologies in August 2015. Prior to this, he was Senior Vice President Commercial and was responsible for all Commercial activities for the business. He previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer, Aerostructures Europe and in this role was responsible for GKN Aerospace - Yeovil site, Munich facility, Engineering Services business and the Airbus and Agusta Westland programmes at the Cowes facility on the Isle of Wight. Ernie has over 35 years of aerospace experience and, for the last 25 years, has operated within Commercial & Business management, joining GKN in 2001 as Commercial Director. Prior to joining GKN, Ernie held a number of senior positions within British Aerospace – Business Director, Hawk; Commercial Director, Aerostructures and Commercial/ Procurement Director, Marine.

 

Rob Soen (54)

Experience

Joined GKN Aerospace in 2001 as the European Procurement Director, promoted to include global responsibility in 2007 as the Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Management. He has 22 years experience in the automotive industry progressing to senior supply chain and general management positions within Dunlop, Tenneco Walker (Unipart), Thyssen Krupp Automotive and GKN plc.
