The Wenchuan earthquake caused mass devastation across Sichuan province of China in 2009. Buildings in the area were simply not designed to withstand a quake that measured 7.9 on the Richter Scale.

GKN, with operations close to the area affected, helped to rebuild a local elementary school that was destroyed by the disaster. Support continues today…
