A CVJ sideshaft consists of two joints plus a shaft which enable a vehicle's wheels to have full steering movement while accommodating suspension movement and providing constant torque transmission from the engine, yet minimising noise, vibration and harshness ("NVH").

GKN Driveline is also the leading independent supplier of high performance propeller shafts for use in passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Europe. Propeller shafts are longitudinal shafts which transmit power from a vehicle's engine to an axle and are used in rear wheel drive and all wheel drive ("AWD") vehicles.
